CANNABIDIOL (CBD) — WHAT WE KNOW AND WHAT WE DON’T

Posted on January 14, 2021 by Brissia Stroud

CBD is the shortened form of cannabidiol. It is the second major active component of the cannabis extract after tetrahydrocannobinol (THC). While it may seem like CBD is gotten from the marijuana plant, it is not! Rather, CBD is obtained from another variety called the “Hemp plant”.

The concentration of CBD in the hemp plant is higher than THC. The THC component is more than CBD in Marijuana. CBD is the most widely consumed form of cannabis.

The questions on most minds will be “in taking CBD will I get high?” well, the answer is NO. THC is the active component responsible for “the high” and euphoria.

Is CBD legal?

The answer to this question is yes! CBD is very legal as long as it meets the FDA guidelines. CBD is illegal in some states but there have been several appeals by producers to the government. The appeal is for government to give them permission to include CBD in products for the benefit of the populace. Know more here!

Is CBD Addictive?

The answer is not really known. Studies have revealed that it depends on the source. Some CBD products might contain a considerably amount of THC and THC is the component responsible for addiction.

There is a possibility of addiction when THC is in high quantity. It is therefore important that we use CBD according to a doctor’s prescription.

Despite this, the FDA in a bid to control the intake of THC by consumers and the quantity put in products, have regulated the amount. The FDA directed that the quantity of CBD in products should not be more than 0.3%, anything more than that is a breach of the law and is punishable.

Where can I buy CBD products?

Legal CBD products can be bought anywhere. In the convenience store, the mall, coffee shop in any state in which sales of CBD products is legal. It can also be purchased on online platforms on the internet and delivered to you in the convenience of your home.

Does CBD have side effects?

Almost everything existing on this planet that has an advantage, also has disadvantages. Sadly, CBD falls in the category of things that have side effects associated with its intake. The side effects of CBD includes the following; diarrhea, nausea, tiredness, irritability, infertility in males, disrupts the activities of some drugs when taken alongside it and so on.

Although the amount of CBD taken that might result in these symptoms is not known, it is advisable to always take CBD on doctor’s prescription. It is also quite dangerous to take CBD when pregnant or breastfeeding.

CBD has its obvious benefits but one has to be careful. In as much as the CBD product might look harmless, it is advisable to always seek medical advice before taking it. Always remember to always ask questions before using any CBD product. Ensure that the quantity of THC in the product is clearly so that you don’t endanger your health. Cannabidiol has become a popular choice for thousands dealing with everyday aches and pain. For those experiencing chronic pain, CBD oil is a potential remedy for them and it’s easy to see why it’s popular. It does look to be a possible remedy for pain relief and more want to look for a non-prescription method. So, is CBD oil the way forward for pain relief, or is it just all hype?

Research and Results

While there have been studies and research carried out over the use of CBD oil, they’re fairly limited. For the most part, studies have focused on moderate use of CBD. It appears to be safe for moderate users but that depends on the actual person taking the oil. There are some concerns over the interaction between CBD and some common medications. That is, of course, a worry if you are on prescribed medication. That is why consulting your regular physician or doctor is necessary because they can talk through your options. Of course, more research is needed to fully understand the impact of long-term CBD and pain relief. read more about CBD and other medication by visiting https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/cannabis-cbd-and-other-cannabinoids-drug-licensing-factsheet

How Severe Is Your Pain?

Dealing with chronic pain can be very difficult, no matter how severe it may be. Some will overcome their pain with over-the-counter pain relief and rest time. Unfortunately, many are unable to do so. That is why Cannabidiol has become so popular. However, CBD oil can be used as a way to offer some pain relief. Pain management is more so about the long-term relief rather than short-term; of course, short-term relief can be just as important as long-term. So, is CBD oil right for you? Cannabidiol Masks Pain

Cannabidiol may help relieve some aches and pains but the truth is that it – like all other medications and drugs – is masking the real cause of the pain. For instance, you use CBD oil for arthritis pain. You take the oil when the pain has flared up and is causing a lot of discomfort. However, while some of your pain may be eased, it doesn’t solve the problem of arthritis. CBD is not a miracle cure for medical conditions. In some instances, CBD oil will ease symptoms of medical conditions but won’t solve the problem. A lot of people believe CBD is the solution to their medical problems but it’s far from that.

Finding an Effective Pain Reliever

Pain relief is important for those who deal with constant or chronic pain and it’s hard to find something that’s effective. Cannabidiol may be an option to consider as it helps to ease some pains or aches. In some instances, it has helped ease some severe health issues, but nothing is a certainty. So while CBD may be a pain relief option to consider, it still leaves a lot to be desired. Cannabidiol does have pain relief properties but there is still so much unknown. learn more about effective pain reliever by click Here…

The Ultimate Guide to Food and Drinks

Posted on October 20, 2020October 21, 2020 by Jahmya Lumpkin

Cannabidiol has taken off in recent years because of its seemingly amazing health benefits. Millions look to CBD as a way to fight against anxieties, stress, and much more. It’s easy to see why more want to use Cannabidiol. However, it now seems as though the food and drinks industry is toying with the notion of infusing CBD in consumable goods. The CBD industry is already gaining more interest and thousands want to try CBD-infused food and drinks. So, is it safe to consume CBD edibles, and what are the legalities of it all?

No FDA Approval

One of the most important things you should know is that, currently, the FDA hasn’t approved the use of CBD-infused edibles. It isn’t recommended by the FDA either. Restaurants, depending on their location, are not allowed to sell or promote drinks or food that are laced or infused with CBD. Despite that, a lot of home cooks are adding this to their meals. While it is a popular craze at the moment, there are risks associated with CBD. Since the FDA hasn’t deemed it safe for consumption, there is a risk over what ingredients are actually contained within them. And, how much THC there is too.

The Ultimate Guide for CBD Infused Food and Drinks

Of course, THC levels are supposed to be non-existent in Cannabidiol products – less than 0.3% – but without FDA approval, those true levels are unknown. Genuine manufacturers are less likely to do anything underhand but tracing the origins can be difficult. Also, the CBD industry is vastly unregulated. Read more about CBD Food industry by click Here

CBD-Infused Drinks Are a Popular Craze

Trendy nightclubs and bars love the idea of Cannabidiol-infused cocktails and it’s a popular choice for many consumers too. However, in the US, it isn’t legal to sell any of these drinks in a commercial setting and the club owner could get into serious trouble. Infused drinks are popular because of the calming effect they have on the body; unfortunately, most clubs can’t market or sell them. The main concern is that they aren’t regulated and studies are limited in terms of the long-term effect on the body. Cannabidiol in food is also popular and there are many consumables, such as gummies, that newbie’s love.

There Are Side Effects

Even used in small doses, CBD can have a negative impact on your body. For instance, you may experience some side effects, such as dry mouth, vomiting, nausea, and drowsiness. Cannabidiol-infused in drinks or food may present the same side effects and that’s what you have to be cautious of. You don’t know how your body will react and since there haven’t been enough scientific studies conducted there is an element of the unknown.

Know What It Means To Consume CBD-Infused Food

CBD is popular and there is a craze surrounding it too, but that doesn’t mean to say it’s entirely without risk. Cannabidiol is fairly new in comparison to many other established herbal remedies and ingredients. What’s more, hemp-related products are only recently being made legalized but still, every region has different regulations surrounding it. CBD is confusing and ever-changing so it’s hard to keep up with those changes. Cannabidiol-infused food and drinks remain popular.
